Upholding the tradition of the European Grand Hotels comes naturally in Budapest. The 5-star Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal is one of the most luxurious properties in the city. Formerly the Grand Hotel Royal, in 2003 the Corinthia was beautifully restored to its former glory. From the interior to the historical facade, great care was taken to ensure that the building retained its original splendor.
Even the restaurants represent tradition with a unique flavor: from Asian delights to Hungarian cuisine. Bock Bistro, located on the ground floor of the hotel, was awarded the “Bib Gourmand” qualification by Michelin Guide in March 2010. It's a popular restaurant, so be sure to make reservation in advance. Originally opened in 1886, the luxurious Royal Spa ensures the prefect relaxation for body and soul - there's a Turkish steam bath, a 15 meter indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis, tropical rain showers, Niagara bathtubs, mud baths, seaweed baths, a fitness room and saunas. The modern spa facilities are complemented by a therapeutic and massage treatments. The spa facilities are open to adults (16+) only. Nevertheless, the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal is a good choice for families with kids, as the hotel offers free passes and a transfer service to the Spa facilities at their sister property, the Ramada Plaza Budapest Hotel. It's a bit odd that while Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, it's only free in the guestrooms.

It includes free breakfast, coffee, all-day refreshments, pastries and snacks, daily cocktail hour, as well as concierge service and use of the business centre. Location and Things to Do
Located on the Grand Boulevard between Oktogon and Blaha Lujza square, the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal is close to Budapest's theatre district, great cafes and restaurants in Liszt Ferenc square, Budapest's famous Andrassy Avenue and the Jewish quarter. While the hotel is not in the city center, streetcars 4 and 6 stop right outside the main entrance and both the Millennium Underground (M1) at Oktogon and the M2 subway at Blaha Lujza square are walking distance.

Superior Rooms (285) - Superior Rooms are equipped with queen or twin beds and overlook the Atrium. The Superior Queen rooms are 35 sq m (376 sq ft) and the Superior Twin rooms are 30 sq m (322 sq ft).
Executive Rooms (98) - The 30 sq m (322 sq ft) Executive Rooms come with queen size beds and overlook the Atrium. Decorated with mahogany, Executive Rooms also offer free use of the Executive Lounge services.
Junior Suites (6) - Junior Suites come with queen size beds and have overlook Hársfa Street. The 63m sq (678 sq ft) rooms are also decorated with mahogany and also include free us of the Executive Lounge.
Deluxe Suites (22) - The spacious, 70 m sq (753 sq ft) Deluxe Suites have queen size beds and overlook the Grand Boulevard. They are also decorated with mahogany and offer a separate living room plus free access to Executive Lounge services.
In addition the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal also offers 2 Ambassador Suites (140 sq m or 1,507 sq ft) and 1 Royal Suite (238 sq m or 2,562 sq ft).
