Why is Malev still advertising fares to Budapest from the US? Did they not stop their direct flight? I wish they would fly again. It was so convenient.

Welcome to the forums, Eva S!

Yes, they stopped operating their long-haul flights to New York (and Toronto), however Malev is a oneworld partner and they code-share some flights with American Airlines (from New York and Chicago, via Milan, Brussels and Rome). This means, that AA flies the transatlantic sector and Malev operates the European flights. These code-share flights are sold by both airlines, thus the Malev fares. I agree, the direct flight was much more convenient.
