I am a american born Hungarian who would love to be married at St. Matyas Church. I speak a little Hungarian and my fiance speaks only English. As a result, Im told that our ceremony would require an english speakiing preist. This is posing a problem as there are no English speaking preists that reside at the church. Has anyone had an English ceremony at St. Matyas? Can you share your experience please?

Welcome to the forums, Viktoria27!

Check out the last comment on the following thread: http://visitbudapest.travel/travel-forums/viewthread/56/ She might be able to share her experience. It’s from earlier, but you might want to leave a comment there to see if you can connect with her. Good luck!
