Tanti, or auntie’s kitchen, is a new restaurant in Budapest and it’s already the proud holder of one Michelin star. It serves Hungarian and international dishes with a twist. The menu is kept short and it changes frequently. The wine list consists of a nice selection of Hungarian wine. There is a 2-course lunch menu, offered Monday through Friday, for HUF 3,100. Located in a shopping center in Buda (Hegyvidék Bevásárlóközpont), Tanti is a bit far from the city center, but definitely worth a ride.
