Although the name and most of the décor, inherited from the previous establishment, suggests Greek cuisine, Olimpia is one of Budapest's most popular contemporary Hungarian restaurants. There is no set menu and there are no daily specials on the board either, instead you'll see a list of fresh, daily ingredients that will be used to prepare your meal. The only decision you have to make is whether to pick a 4-course or a 7-course dinner. The 4-course dinner costs HUF 5,700 and a 7-course dinner costs HUF 8,300.
Eating at Olimpia is a dining event, so be sure to have enough time to indulge. Great service is pretty much guaranteed by co-owner and your server, Csaba Csongrádi. A lunch menu with 2- and 3-courses is also available (HUF 1,850 or HUF 2,050).
