LouLou is back! For those who remember the old LouLou, one of the city's top restaurants that closed in 2009, this is great news. For everyone else, LouLou is the new "it" place to try when in Budapest. Run by the same people, award-winning chef and restaurateur legend Károly Rudits, LouLou keeps its French bistro style and delicious flavors.
The menu is a combination of contemporary French and Hungarian cuisine – try their onion soup or the duck foie gras – and they have an extensive wine list with a fine selection of local and French wines. The 3-course lunch menu, offered on weekdays, is HUF 4,400. The 7-course degustation menu is HUF 18,600. Main courses are between HUF 4,200 and HUF 5,300. LouLou is open for lunch and dinner.
