As one of the many cafés located on Liszt Ferenc Square, the French-style Café Vian is equally ideal for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner or laid-back cocktails. They also offer an inexpensive prefix lunch menu, which considering its prime location is a bonus.

Vian is also part of the arts scene by displaying paintings from talented young artists.

Café Vian's second location is in the Gozsdu Courtyard, between Király utca and Dob utca in District 7.

    Hi there,
We just spent a week in Budapest at the end of November.
We went to Café Vian for dinner, on Music Academy square.
By far, it was the most crowded place of the square, even though it was only Sunday nice.
Food was pleasant, we went for the Hungarian specialties of the extensive “á la carte”. Service was just prefectm, nice, friendly and professionnnal. We came back during the week for early breakfast, with real croissant and french-like pastries.
Surprise: all alomng our walks in the city, we discovered another one, near by the St Stephen Basilic. We had lunch there, for 3.5 euros, and it was more than correct. And onother surprise: in the very popular spot of “Gozsdu” courtyard, in the old jewish area, we discovered a 3rd one (they say that’s all for the moment). We just had a late dinner there, and a few coctails before to party in one of the club of the area.
Great experience in Cafe Vian! Thanks
