Balettcipő, which means "ballet shoe" in Hungarian, received its name after its original owner, a former ballerina. Located behind the Opera House, Balettcipő has been a local institution in Budapest since 1948. It's a French-inspired café offering salads, dips, baguettes, burgers and even Philly steak sandwiches. The restaurant's charming outdoor patio extends onto a pedestrian precinct.
