Opened in 1992, the Kempinski soon became a symbol of contemporary Budapest with its modern architecture. This 5-star hotel was the first member of The Leading Hotels of the World in Hungary.

The Lobby Lounge and Bar has live classical music each afternoon, the Restaurant Giardino serves signature Hungarian and International dishes, and highlights of Mediterranean cuisine. Opened in 2010, the world-famous Nobu Restaurant Budapest is also located on the ground floor of the Kempinski. It's the first Nobu restaurant in Central Europe. In the warmer seasons, the hotel's Kempinski Terrace and Fashion Lounge, overlooking Budapest’s Fashion street, is a great place to enjoy some snacks, relax and people watch.
