The 4-star Hotel Castle Garden is located in the historic Castle District just outside the walls of Buda Castle, near the Vienna Gate. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, close to many of Budapest's must-see attractions in Castle Hill. The interior design incorporates natural materials and colors throughout the hotel, from the furniture in the guest rooms and public areas to the hand-made, dried and pressed flower decorations. In addition, close to 100 original flower paintings by a contemporary Hungarian artist are on display at the hotel.
The Hotel Castle Garden's 38 air-conditioned, smoke-free rooms feature free Internet access and individually controlled air-conditioning. There is a unique restaurant with a garden terrace, a lobby bar and a small wellness center with a sauna and a Jacuzzi (for a fee). The hotelís Bonfini Kert Restaurant and Terrace offers views of Buda Castle and serves up a selection of traditional Italian and Hungarian dishes. Grill specialties are served in the restaurant's garden terrace (seasonal). Buffet breakfast is served daily and is only included in the rate with certain room types (please check prior to booking). Location and Things to Do
The Buda Castle with all its sights and attractions is an amazing place to visit during the day and just as beautiful while lit up at night. The best way to discover it is to take a Castle Hill walking tour. The city is easily accessible either on foot or with public transportation. Moszkva tér with subway line M2, streetcars and buses is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Buses 16, 16A and 116 service Castle Hill. A short ride on the nearby Funicular will get you to Chain Bridge. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Ruszwurm Cukrászda, a small café with a mouthwatering selection of pastries, ice cream and cakes is a must try.
