The Újbuda Jazz Fesztivál was created in 2005 as an annual event to celebrate Újbuda, Budapest's district 11. District 11 is located in Buda, and it includes Gellért Hill and the area south of it by the Danube. Over the past years the Újbuda Jazz Fesztivál became very popular and it even gained international recognition with jazz performers from all over the world. In addition to the many jazz concerts in 2011 the festival hosts 2 jazz themed photo exhibitions and the premier of the documentary about Peter Brötzmann.
Entrance fees:
Concert tickets are HUF 1,500 at the gate and HUF 1,000 if purchased in advance.
