The Hay Festival, Britain’s top festival of the arts, comes to Budapest for the second time. Hay Budapest will feature a series of literature events with a mix of Hungarian, British, Spanish and other international authors and thinkers. The program includes Hungarian writer Péter Esterházy, Spanish philosopher Fernando Savater, the Anglo/Hungarian poet and translator George Szirtes and much more.
In 2013, Hay Festival celebrates its 26th anniversary. Ever since its foundation in 1997, it has attracted writers, filmmakers, comedians, politicians and musicians from all over the world. For more info and full program visit the official site of Hay Festival Budapest.
Venues include the Petőfi Museum of Literature (Károlyi Milhály utca 16), the Pecsa Music Hall (City Park) and the Central European University (Nádor utca 9).
