The Danube Day is an annual international event celebrated in 14 countries that are connected through the Danube river system. Several festivals on the banks of the river, public meetings and fun, educational events are held to bring awareness and to pay tribute to the Danube and its wildlife.
In 2015, we celebrate the 12th Danube Day.
Danube Day is also part of Danube Flow, which follows in the footsteps of the successful Danube Info Trail (Duna Tanösvény), where a few years ago young contemporary artists told the story of the river’s past, present and imagined future through cartoons and graphics. Danube Flow aims to bring fun and educational Danube programs from June to September.
Program details are available at Danube Flow's website.
