The annual Champagne and Wine Festival takes place in Budafok, home to a vast cellar system and known for wine and champagne making. Visitors can sample some great Hungarian vintages from well-known and lesser known wineries alike. The two-day long festival also features tasty fare, live concerts, programs for kids and a shuttle to the cellars (the ride is HUF 300).
Budafok, now part of District 22, used to be Hungary’s largest distribution center of wine trade as well as an important champagne producing center. The sparkling wines of József Törley & Co remain one of the highlights of the festival.

Free entry, a tasting glass is HUF 600.

Free shuttle buses run from Campona Shopping Center (Budapest, Nagytétényi út 37-43) to the festival.
