The Budavári Sörfesztivál or Buda Castle Beer Festival, first organized in 2011, is an annual event.
The 5-day festival brings almost 100 domestic and international beer types to beer-lovers. Well known breweries like Borsodi, Dreher and Heineken along with lesser-known microbreweries will be in Buda Castle at the Royal Palace to showcase their products. German, Czech and Belgian beers will also be represented among many other nations' best brews. Visitors will have a chance to taste beer specialties, learn about the history of beer making and learn how to draw a drought. There will be plenty of tasty fare to pair with your beer and several live performances to keep everyone entertained.
