Why visit: history, original Junkers F13
The Museum of Transport features large-scale models of various kinds of historic vehicles, especially locomotives and trains. Vintage motorcycles and bicycles, early models of cars and antique horse buggies are also displayed, along with a railway station from the 1900s. Part of the museum is dedicated to the history of flight. The original Junkers F13, the first metal structured plane in the world, is on display, and stands as one of only three of its kind in the world. A huge collection of all things transport-related, including the capsule of Hungary's first astronaut.
Getting to the Museum of Transport: Take the Millennium Underground (M1) to City Park
