Are you a foodie? Here is a chance to taste the finest of Hungarian gastronomy. The annual Budai Gourmet Festival brings together the best wine makers, pálinka distillers, gourmet shops, restaurants and confectioners from all over Hungary. The farmers' market at the festival is a great place to sample homemade bread, cheese, sausage, ham, honey and other delicacies. The appetizing bites are accompanied by live Jazz music. Gourmand soccer fans will enjoy 'Foodball' with live action from the EURO 2012 UEFA Championship on a big screen. Culinary delights from restaurants like Arany Kaviár, Bock Bistro, Costes, Rosenstein and Villa Bagatelle are some of the must-trys. Budai Gourmet is held at the Millenáris. The festival closes on Sunday (June 10th) at midnight, so there is still time to sample your way through some of Hungary's best tastes. Here are some pictures to whet your appetite.
