Air Transat, Canada's leading holiday travel airline, announced on October 15, 2014, that they will start offering weekly direct flights to Budapest from Montreal and Toronto. Set to begin on June 17, 2015, the seasonal route will serve Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) with an intermediate stop at Montréal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport (YUL). The new route will operate through October 8, 2015. The aircraft, an Airbus A330-200, will offer 345 seats, 12 in Club Class and 333 in economy.
