Canopy walk in the city?
The Orczy Kalandpark, an adventure park close to the city center, opened its doors in 2010. It offers canopy walks, zip-lines and exciting outdoor toys that will keep kids (and adults) entertained for hours. It's proximity to the city center makes the Orczy Kalandpark your own backyard playground. Your 2-hour adventure begins with gear outfitting (included in the price) and a crash course (no pun intended) on how to use the facilities.
Birthday parties, team building and educational programs are also available.
Getting to the Orczy Kalandpark: Take the subway (M3) to Nagyvárad tér and take the short walk over to the park
Opening hours:
March through October (weather permitting) daily, 10 am to 6 pm, except Mondays, when the park is open noon to 6 pm
Entrance fees:
Kids (4-14 years of age): HUF 2,000
Adult: HUF 2,300
Student/Senior: HUF 2,100
Family (2 adults + 2 kids): HUF 7,200
An interesting tidbit: During their stay in Budapest in the fall of 2010, Angelina Jolie's and Brad Pitt's kids enjoyed playing in the Orczy Kalandpark.
