Budapest Public Transport Tour Details
“Meet locals! Save on taxi costs! Use public transport!” This hands-on city tour is more fun than being in a sightseeing bus. Budapest has an excellent public transportation system, including the first subway line in mainland Europe, a vast streetcar system dating back to 1887, and some quite unique means of transport, like the cogwheel or the ferries. During the 2.5 hour Budapest Public Transport Tour you can not only try five different means of transport but also get a guided tour of the city in a special way. You’ll be riding the trolley, the streetcar, the newest metro line, the ferry and the Millennium Underground while getting a glimpse of some must-see sights like, the Great Synagogue, New York Café, Gellért Baths, Castle Hill, Café Gerbeaud, Heroes’ Square and City Park.
