Stories of the Danube Tour Details
The beautiful Danube River both divides and connects Buda and Pest. It plays an integral role in the city's past and present and it has inspired artists, poets and musicians throughout the centuries. Kings were crowned on the ice of the Danube and amazing buildings, like the Hungarian Parliament, the Academy of Sciences and the famous Central Market Hall were all built right next to the river. The Stories of the Danube Tour features historic landmarks and many moving and amusing stories while strolling along the embankment in Pest, including the Danube Promenade.
